ALIVE!

ReachThat’s what I want to feel.  How we take this for granted.  Not just going through the motions of the day.  Not just feeling, ho-hum and that this is as good as life gets.  Feeling alive like you haven’t felt in years.  Feeling lite, carefree, blissful!

Is your life perfect in this moment?  Maybe not, but that doesn’t have to stop you from choosing to be… ALIVE.

What does being alive feel like?  Laughter, goose bumps, energy, passion.

When was the last time you did something that made you feel… alive?  Not just living.

I think of the song, This Girl is on Fire by Alicia Keys.  Google it.  Listen to it… turn it up.  Sing, dance and feel it.  What would make you feel that alive?  If this song doesn’t work for you… choose another.

I also think of teenagers.  What do they do?  They ride roller coaster, dirt bikes, surf, and rock-climb.  Why?  Because it makes them feel alive.  Okay, so maybe your not up for an extreme sport but you can do something in your own way to unbury your inner spirit that is dying to get out.  Don’t make it complicated… don’t put it off any longer.

When was the last time you felt it?  Your true zest for life?  Find it.  It’s in you.  You might feel it in your core or in your heart.  It’s the reason why you chose to be born.  It’s like an explosion of butterflies.  Your spirit wants to run and play throughout your body.  It wants to feel every inch of you and your interactions in the world.  Let it!

Life often weighs heavy on us.  It can bury your spirit, if you allow this.  Maybe you’ve kept it locked up for too long.  Set it free.  Do something… do anything!

Choose to be… full of life, alert, active, energetic, vigorous, vivacious, buoyant, exuberant, spirited, full of beans, chipper, peppy and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Today, I decided to be more alive.  Today, I decided to be a… writer on fire.  Like or reply if you feel the on fire energy, too.  Love to you all.
