The Power of a NAP

Nap

When was the last time you took a nap? If you’re laughing or still trying to remember when, then it’s been too long.

As a child, I had a hard time napping. It seemed more like punishment. And as an adult, I only daydreamed of taking a nap. I was so busy. There were not enough hours in the day. I was lucky if I got six hours sleep a night.

Then my life slowed down and I did catch up on sleep. I had no idea that this would take not a day, not a week, but months. Still, I struggled to take a nap. Naps seemed… lazy, so not productive. Ha! They are not. A nap is a great reset. Allow yourself to be refreshed and at your best. It’s also a great time to lucid dream. Do not underestimate the power of a nap. Give yourself permission to take a nap or two.

To assist with the thought, I offer these two lullaby’s:

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDHxhhB8710

Brahms Lullaby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ8ND0atfXM

See if they speak to your soul and… sweet dreams!
