The Divine Feminine in you… have you found her yet?

What do you see when you look at this picture?

I see a heart. I’d meet a lady on the beach and gave her some beachcombing tips. On her walk back, she was showing me her finds. She was so kind, she actually offered me the shell but I’m a firm believer that one finds what they are supposed to. I asked her if I could take a picture and you can see our shadows a bit as we stood side by side. I’d never seen this and thought it was a great find.

I posted the picture online and a general comment was made offline about my fingernail.  Maybe I was reading to much into the comment.  I then thought of my Divine Feminine. Actually, I’ve been wanting to write on this for some time now.

I usually have longer nails and try to keep them manicured. I used to get manicures, pedicures and my eye brows done. Now I don’t waste hours in the bathroom or in salons – I’m too busy living. Now, I’m… me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for getting dressed up and for doing things that make you feel good but don’t lose sight of your natural beauty and gift. Connect to your inner Divine Feminine and then let that radiate from you. Can you? If so, awesome! If not… practice!

Several years ago, I read on the Divine Feminine and encourage you to. There are many articles online. She is in every women born. This soul aspect though can be smothered, neglected, underestimated and misunderstood. She is power and not till you know her, do you really understand your true nature.

She is WILD.

She is a fighter.

She is courage.

She is passion and compassion.

She is laughter.

She is wise.

She is a teacher.

She is a creator.

She is a healer.

She is grace.

She is beauty.

She is love and a passionate lover.

She is you.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I encourage you to give a gift to yourself. Pamper your divine ness.  Connect more to the real, you. Honor who you are. Allow the Divine in you to speak to you. She is never critical or judgmental.  She loves you!

And, maybe bring this up as a topic with your mother, sisters and girlfriends. Assist other women in their own journey and to think differently. Our ego, the media and society can lead us down a very different road if we allow this.

On this beach walk, I saw a unique shell and meet a wonderful soul (not a stranger). I thought both were beautiful and a gift. It was just a moment but what if these small moments are the most important ones.  A moment where smiles and bonding took place – all good energy. Focus on the positive, do what you love and be your true nature. Now that sounds, Divine.
