Blogger Recognition Award

Well… I have to admit I have mixed feelings.  I am honored.  I also understand why some say, award free zone. 

This does take a bit of time and I found myself putting this off.  I write from my heart and often feel compelled to write.  I write, not for the likes or awards but because it now runs through my veins.  And I need to say, I never saw myself as a writer.  I will say though, I love comments.

This is my first award as a blogger and honestly it was a surprise and it did bring a smile to my face. What a nice gesture.  I am grateful.  For the nomination, I would like to thank http://aminaberg.com .

How I started blogging was, after a dear friend and my fiancé had suggested, then reminded, and then insisted – LOL.  So I started in January of this year.  I’d have no idea how much I’d love it and how much support I’d feel from the blogging community.  Many thanks!

Advice to new bloggers:  Well, for me I write, review, post and repeat.  My writing style has become (or is at times) grammatically incorrect and I overlook my spelling errors – ugh.  Sorry, I do understand the importance.

Writing can be a form of therapy but remember your words and stories are public for the world to see and sometimes this is a small world.  Also seek out other bloggers and check your reader.  So many great posts each week.  Find your kind and know that your kind will find you.

1. Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to. Do some digging if you must! Find those blogs. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who has nominated you.
2. Write a post to show off your award! Give a brief story of how your blog got started, and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers.
