Animal Signs: Hawk, Mole & Fox

Okay… there has been a significant change in the energy.  An upswing.  And today is flying by!  And speaking of… just sharing some of the signs I am seeing.  I often see a variety of birds in flight but the other evening a visitor landed in the back yard.  Quite rare.  Pic is a bit fuzzy (haha, literally) but I was surprised and happy she waited long enough for me to grab my camera.

When I looked up Hawk symbolism I read:  Be aware that there is a message to be received and interpreted. Hawk holds the key to higher consciousness and trying to bring certain things into your circle of awareness. Know that enlightenment is imminent.

Then today I literally stumbled through the yard.  We seem to have a new friend.  A busy overnight mole.  A lot of symbolism here but I’ll share the first few things I found online.  From:  mara-gamiel.blogspot.com/2009/03/power-animals-mole.html

When Mole is around, it is important to believe in what you feel, and not in what you can see. Trust your instincts.

When mole energy is around, be prepared for unusual situations.  Haha… but of course.  And this is tying into the energy perfectly.  A lot is shifting and yet to play out.  The unknown.

Among the Pueblo tribes, moles are considered an important medicine animal, one of the six directional guardians. Moles represent the downward direction, the color black, earth and agriculture, and sickness and health.

Like other burrowing animals, moles are associated with the underworld and thus with death, sickness, and healing.  A mole digging near a family’s home is considered an omen of illness or death.   Hmm… well, can’t get any closer.  Death symbolism though is tricky.  We are constantly “dying”/shedding in this journey.  Many are going through a rebirth right now.

So I paused in writing and needed to run out for a bit.  As I drove home, a fox came sprinting across my path.  Okay, let’s just add that, too.  I’ve seen this once before and it caught my eye then since fox’s are nocturnal.

Understanding signs becomes an art.  Honestly there are so many ways to interpret.  A sign can be viewed as good/bad/whatever… often reflecting the energy you are holding.  While online references are awesome and often spot on, also be sure to turn inward, check in and know what you are feeling.  Then share if you can.  For me, signs often come in multiples and I’ve found tell a story.  Hawk (above) + Mole (below) + Fox (this plane) =  ??  Hmm…  are we having fun yet?  🙂  Yes!

Interesting since just another mile down the road, a man with a Stop/Slow sign was waiting for me.  Haha!
