When bad turns good, really good.

As I walked out the door, I asked for magic. I got, serendipity!  A stop at a small local festival and tucked in the back was a family owned animal rehab.  I once had a dream an eagle landed on my arm.  It was vivid and powerful and… I wasn’t afraid.  Seriously an eagle has talons and when one is flying towards you can feel pretty small and possibly like prey.   Really though, these picture capture me, my nature and… a bit of a walk on the wild side. 🙂 Continue reading

Web of support

DSCF2990

Welcome March and here we go! I love my signs. I was sitting outside and my mind was running away. I was thinking of my blog and how many additional streams have been birthed from it. Honestly I had no idea over a year ago. Recently I’ve been playing (literally) with youtubes, self-publishing, setting up free conference calls to support others in their journey, etc. And then I realized I was in a web. A spider web. Go back to old ways or pause and then move forward. Continue reading

Soul self-care

I’m a mom and a girl-scout by heart.  My Mickey tin of Band-Aids has been with me for years.  I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow it.  I’ve often said, I have a Band-Aid for that.  I went to re-stock it the other day and thought of how many types of Band-Aids this tin has carried.  From small to large plain ones, to camo, to hot pink (just because they made them).  I chuckled as I opened this Band-Aid.  Yes, this expression looks familiar.  Life is often unexpected.  Oh my, how did this happen?  And… why?  Continue reading

A JOY Ride

Find-joy-in-the-journeyI love words. How about these three? A joy ride. What is the first thing you think of?

Do you think of freedom and driving on a long rural country road with the radio on? Possibly riding with a great companion? Having a smile on your face, wind in your hair and no worries?   Or do think of it as a crime, a ride in a borrowed or stolen car where you are speeding along being reckless? The choice is yours.
